Introduction

The Langvad Chamber Music Jamboree is an international gathering of musicians of different backgrounds and ages coming together for the experience of chamber music in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. In the unique environment of Kirsten Kjaer's Museum, 15 or so musicians gather for some 12 days of musicmaking, and present four concerts.

The museum complex, which has 3 grand pianos, is in a pleasant area, much loved by tourists – quiet countryside, sea not far away, tennis court, etc.

The 2008 event was the first to be presented in the splendid new concert hall.

Dates for 2010 are Wednesday 21st July (arrival) to Monday 2nd August (departure) with concerts at the museum on Tuesday 27th, Thursday 29th and Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August.
